The scent is excellent. I just stayed at the Sofitel in Manhattan and the Desert Rose oil smells EXACTLY like their lobby.
However, I followed the set up instructions to a tee but it neglected to tell me to tighten the opposite end of the diffuser. So when I flipped it over, it slowly leaked oil all over my wood dresser which is now permanently stained. I tighten that end and now it works fine. (I saw another review that said theirs leaked everywhere as well, so I’m not the only one that this has happened to)
I would recommend using this diffuser in a small space, like a bedroom or bathroom, as you need to get pretty close to it to smell the beautiful aroma.

It is very nice looking but, either I am using it incorrectly or it just doesn't put the scent out into the room the way that I would hope. You have to be almost up on it to smell the wonderful scent.
